Job Description:
We are looking for data scientists to join our team and help us innovate, research & build production ready products. Data scientists will be responsible for providing guidelines for the data collection, planning & carrying out experiments, and also try out new approaches. Along with above mentioned responsibilities, he may need to interact with mobile engineers, frontend developers to complete features end to end.
Currently, our stack consists of Django/Python, Android, TensorFlow and Reactjs on AWS.
Responsibilities will include
- Develop new innovative technology solutions and demonstrate solutions and prototypes.
- Work in close collaboration with internal and external customers as well as partners to develop and deliver innovative technology solutions.
- Contribute to a team that will use state of the art open source tools.
- Help design novel video analysis applications that intelligently extract relevant information and understanding from video data streams and apply machine learning techniques and other novel approaches to use the information as part of real-world applications.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in the field by continuous learning and proactively champion promising new methods relevant to the problems at hand.
- Lead complex analytics projects, mentor and guide junior members of staff, focus on outcome and deliver with quality and on timelines.
- Help & innovate deployment processes of the models, algorithms
Skills:
- A minimum of Masters’ degree (PhD preferred) in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, imaging science, or a related science or engineering discipline is required.
- Deep knowledge and experience in one or more topics of Computer Vision, Image and Video Analysis, Computational Geometry, Applied Machine Learning, Deep learning and Advanced Statistics Modelling.
- Strong expertise in algorithms, data structures, statistical modelling and Machine Learning algorithms especially Deep Learning. In particular:
- Strong experience in building and training machine learning models, especially non-linear models such as deep learning is required.
- Strong experience in deploying predictive models, especially neural networks, and real-time model monitoring.
- Hand on experience in predictive model verification and validation for quality assurance and sustained performance.
- Strong and working knowledge of Python programming language packages is a must and the ability to write efficient Python programs from start to finish is required.
- Additional experience with Java, Kotlin, C++ will be an added advantage
- Experience in leading projects, meeting tight deadlines with an agile approach.
- Self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast paced, project-focused, multi-disciplinary and collaborative environment
- Self-learner and the ability to work hands-on with minimal supervision or assistance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
