Responsibilities:
Development and Delivery: Hands on, sleeves up development and delivery expected as a matter of course. This is a “do-er” – Individual Contributor role.
Technical Architecture: Be conversant with technical architecture to contribute to design discussions in partnership with the product Architects. Lead and advise in the area of cloud computing for our internal product Development teams.
Optimize the delivery of advanced analytics products and platforms development and management, in terms of both throughput and quality, by promoting and embedding DevOps, DataOps, MLOps tools and processes and agile delivery methods as appropriate.
Collaboration and Ownership: Work with Core Tech teams, Product Owners and managers to develop and execute on long-term roadmaps aligned with GSC Product Delivery Strategy. Drive development of repeatable assets, solutions, products & accelerators. Own the technical relationship and deliverables for GSC Product Development and Delivery teams. Be the Voice of the GSC product Development teams. Share insights and best practices, and connect with Engineering teams and relevant stakeholders to remove blockers
Competency Management: Demonstrate a bias for action and deep technical skills by authoring joint technical whitepapers with GSIs, technical case studies, and enterprise focused blog posts. Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community
Skill Requirements:
- Hands-on coding experience in one of the Object-Oriented Programming Language (Python, Java, C#)
- Work experience on Design and Development of end-to-end Advanced analytics Products and building Cloud Agnostic Hybrid Platforms for Advanced Analytics Products
- Hands-on experience on Working with GCP and Azure Cloud Services.
- Experience working with Realtime Data Streaming Products and applications
- Experience with DevOps and DevSecOps using variety of platforms, primarily Azure and GCP
- Experience with Shell, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Azure CLI, GCloud CLI
- Experience with CI/CD (ADO, Githab, Ansible, Jenkins)
- Experience with developing and supporting applications in Docker, Docker Swarm
- Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, GKS, AKS
- Experience with large complex SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL), MySQL
- Experience in DB migration on-prem to Cloud
- Working experience with Cloud native Application services.
- Comprehensive knowledge around Cloud Network and gateway services.
- Good to have experience with Nginx, API Gateway, Logging, Monitoring, Alerting
- Familiarity with security frameworks and risk-based security programs. Knowledge of threat modelling and risk assessment techniques.
- Experience in multi-cloud security (Azure, GCP etc.).Experience in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, FISMA, etc.,)
- Proven experience in security design for complex applications, distributed systems, APIs, and services deployed to cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Understanding of containerized applications and their security standard methodologies
- Solid understanding of recent developments and concerns with standard protocols
- Familiarity with security tools, e.g. SonarQube, Nessus, Threat Modeler etc.
- Extensive experience in SW development, including hands on with Machine Learning/AI models, Big Data and Analytics Frameworks, SQL and NewSQL database management systems, Open-Source communities and Python development.
- Experience in security design for complex applications, distributed systems, APIs, and services deployed to cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. Experience working with product management in defining requirements
Education & Experience
7-10 years of working experience in similar profile
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in Engineering.
