As Systems Integration and Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the implementation, technical performance and use of core technologies to ensure the applications are within a specified domain to meet the needs of the business. The role demands an in-depth knowledge of key technologies that enable the effective use of applications.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
- Maintain design authority for all new and existing applications in the domain.
- Provide leadership, technical direction and GSK expertise to project and support teams.
- Anticipate, understand, troubleshoot, and fix problems using technical expertise and problem-solving skills to restore service, identify root cause and remediate.
- Ensure the technical delivery of any new application is fully compliant with GSK IT and Regulatory standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the key technologies to enable effective impact assessments of any proposed changes or design choices.
- Maintain familiarity with architectural standards, vision, technical landscape, validation requirements, central service request processes, GSK policies, and other aspects of GSK environment.
- Support Scrum Master and delivery team to design, develop, and transition the new applications into production.
- Proactively supports IT Asset Owner to develop and deliver continuous improvement of applications portfolio to enhance user productivity, increase system reliability and reduce the total cost of ownership.
- Keeps relevant technical documentation up to date in support of the lifecycle plan and for audits/reviews.

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in agile development
- Azure Data Platform Certification
- 5+ years supply chain and manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in the development and delivery of IT systems
- Experience with project architecture processes, practices and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Master’s degree (Prefer a degree in IT with a science background)
- Demonstrated skill in delivering solutions that integrate commercial of-the-shelf products
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and technology platforms aligned to GSK roadmaps
- Ability to develop and lead high performing teams, in a matrix environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Extensive experience in strategic IT vendor relationship management
- Ability to lead multiple projects dependent on a variety of stacks
