Procurement Sourcing Analyst
In this role you will…
- Conduct sourcing for spend categories in scope of responsibility aligned with the requirements of stakeholders and business partners with cooperation with Global/Regional/Local teams
- Deliver benefits identified in strategies, local, regional and global, through effective and collaborative strategy execution, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, cash, service, cost and innovation
- To ensure HALEON’s Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are utilized in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility
Benefit delivery
- Support category & market leads in the creation and delivery of effective savings targets agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the agreed Savings Methodology
- Deliver benefit identified in strategies, local, regional and global, through effective and collaborative strategy execution, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation.
- Deliver savings and other set KPIs critical to global procurement plans as aligned with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Savings Methodology and global budgets.
Business partnering & stakeholder management in HALEON
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally/locally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans
- Demonstrated success in collaboration with a wide range of senior leaders across [business areas] and supplier.
- Resolve escalations, including from senior business stakeholders, timely and tactfully
- Understand and efficiently navigate organizational complexity to deliver set goals
Key duties to be performed:
- Collecting and analyze procurement data for business insights and for effective decision-making
- Use quantitative and analytical methods to develop a set of actionable insights to drive value and improve overall operations
- Use procurement analytics to segment spend across commodities, geographies, and entities to identify opportunities to generate savings and value
- Identify maverick spend & key triggers to engage in a sourcing event that may include information on a supplier’s risk, quality, and performance profile, as well as information on buying patterns or demand forecasts
- Support Category managers, and procurement managers, various teams in the development and administration of supplier assessments, score cards and other analytics to manage supplier performance
- Provide real time updates on data (including how spend, supplier, category data is classified, and others) – Create spend classifications on a real time basis
- Gather, cleanse and classify and enrich spend data to find sourcing opportunities, track compliance, measure pricing variance
- Measure Source to Contract execution, end to end purchase order cycle times, bottlenecks
- Prepare and study data to recommend savings and cash flow improvements associated with payment terms
- Use Procurement Analytics, to evaluate the accuracy of payments, monitor for duplicate payments or fraud, and evaluate discount opportunities
- Evaluate and analyze suppliers across multiple performance and risk dimensions and prevent issues before they occur
- Purchase goods and services for the business in a way that creates the most value at the lowest risk
- Evaluate and analyze potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and prepare monthly supply cost reports
- Participate in supplier evaluation and selection
- Lead and support opportunity assessments and benchmarking to develop sourcing opportunities
- Construct custom dashboards for suppliers, executives, lines of business
Why you?
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-6 years of relevant experience.
- This role should have procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, sourcing, Indirect category management, cost model synthesis and supplier relationship management for delivering multi-country, spend analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in navigating through organizational complexity, collaborating simultaneously with multiple teams, influencing without authority, handling escalations and associated business impact.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and utilising complex business processes in all HALEON supplier transactions, including all risk/regulatory/compliance.
- Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology.
