ReedGroup Business Analyst I
(Level 4)
Responsible for capturing, documenting, evaluating, and translating business/client requirements into functional and technical solutions within the ReedGroup claim and claim related systems for Leave and Disability Operations. Advises and educates the business/client regarding ReedGroup best practices and helps solution effectively to meet client needs. Configures system via tools or custom work order management according to requirements and conducts comprehensive testing to validate system processes prior to go-live. Familiar with database concepts, data integration, inbound and outbound file feeds, system configuration. Familiar with process definition [use case creation], time & attendance and Payroll concepts, requirements-related, modelling and collaboration tools. Responsibly completes tasks in accordance with project timelines and escalates issues appropriately. Single point of contact for technical questions from the client and assists with troubleshooting issues. Works cross-functionally with ReedGroup Development, Claim Operations, Payroll, Account Management, and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Review Client’s leave and disability policies, document client requirements, and translate needs into the Business Requirements Documents
  • Write clear and concise business requirements ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, comprehensible, feasible, unambiguous, traceable, and verifiable
  • Identify process gaps or risks and provide ReedGroup best practices, and data-driven solutions to the client
  • Leverage and enhance standard test matrix, conduct test scenarios, identify configuration gaps, resolve issues, and obtain client/business sign-off for user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Submit and track tickets for development items, client standups, and defect fix support
  • Maintain accurate and timely delivery commitments in Smartsheets and/or other project tracking tools approved by Management
  • Align custom configurations and development to the ReedGroup development release schedule.
  • Create and Maintain configuration rules for low code/ no code process configurations
  • Lead business/client through the ReedGroup claims system including workflows and system demonstrations
  • Obtain business/client sign-off on all business requirements, including file feed validation and testing
  • Direct client support for Customer Care and Claims during periods of extreme volume
  • Improve existing internal processes by studying current practices, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending efficient solutions
  • Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Leave of Absence and Disability knowledge preferred
  • Contact Center experiences is preferred
  • Enterprise systems (UltiPro, PeopleSoft, ADP, Workday, Smartsheets, Jira) knowledge preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience developing and maintaining low code/no code business rules
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • IIBA EBCA certification preferred
