Summary:
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Leveraging best practices currently employed in the private and public sectors to support the [JW(1] Program/Project Management Office (PMO) and portfolio management functions of a highly complex and visible technology modernization initiative.
- Familiarity with payroll or financial processes and procedures, GAAP Accounting best practices, and/or the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Support the development and management of critical artifacts and activities, working with the client, the PMO team and the PMO requirements analysts, including but not limited to:
- Support (and in some cases, lead) the development of high-level requirements, such as business rules, policies, and procedures.
- Populate and manage client documentation required for procurement activities, such as the Statement of Objectives (SOO) for the desired future state of a new payroll system.
- Work with client stakeholders to develop content in support of issuing procurement documents in support of a new payroll system.
- Participate in (and in some cases, lead) various cost estimation and analysis support activities.
- Interface with client on day-to-day project tasks and needs (i.e. meeting prep & follow up, action item/planning activities, etc.)
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience.
- Support the PMO team in the creation of executive-level communications for both internal Guidehouse and client stakeholders.
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience working on projects in a large organization in either public or private sectors, with experience in:
- PMO support
- Business Analysis
- Cost Analysis
- Familiarity with payroll or financial processes and procedures, GAAP Accounting best practices, and/or the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, and Project.
- Experience in direct client-facing roles.
- Experience interacting and working with operational groups across organization.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities.
- Ability to present (verbally and in writing) technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative and proactive attitude.
- Ability to meet requirements and be issued a Public Trust

This position requires US citizenship due to contractual obligations with 5+ years current residency in the USA.
Preferred: - Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- PMP or comparable certification.
- Agile, Scrum or comparable certification.
