Job Location: Washington Harbor, WA
Responsibilities
- Assist client’s UX design leads with user research studies
- Plan and implement user research strategies
- Perform usability studies with client users
- Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research
- Ask questions, gather data, and analyze data
- Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations
- Coordinate, manage and execute user recruitment plan
- Assist in all user research and usability testing project management activities
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a qualified and experienced user researcher
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree
- US Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Design and research experience working on federal websites and services
- Experience in user research methods
- Understanding of interaction design
- Knowledge of user interview techniques
- Ability to translate UX research findings into design recommendations
- Communication, collaboration, and teamwork
- Problem-solving
- A user-centric mindset

- Creative and analytical approach
Additional Requirements
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described
- Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire
- While this role is available virtually, strong preference will be given to candidates local to Washington, DC
- The starting base salary for this position is $85,000-$120,000, depending on experience and location
