Job Description:
H2scan is seeking an Epicor Business Systems Analyst to support the development and
maintenance of its ERP system. Through customization, configuration, reporting, and user
training, the Epicor Business Systems Analyst will enhance the ERP system functionality to
innovate business processes.
This is a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing industry with
multiple ERP upgrades (ideally Epicor) and the ability to administer and train end-users in multiple
ERP processes including CRM.
The Epicor Business Systems Analyst will support existing enterprise applications, design and
develop custom solutions, and implement new Epicor software solutions. This individual is
responsible for the configuration, operation, performance, and maintenance of the Epicor ERP.
The Epicor Business Systems Analyst participates in technical research and development to
enable continuing innovation. The person in this role assists project teams with delivering
solutions including Incident/Problem Management, training, and creating standard operating
procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Operations Finance, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Software
Development, IT, Sales, and external partners to facilitate execution of ERP solution
strategies
- Resolve ERP issues with or without Epicor tech support representatives
• Provide means for users to efficiently access required data
• Analyze processes through entire project life cycle and recommend more
innovate/efficient/automated means of doing business
• Participate in cross-functional teams to identity business risks and improve efficiencies

- Create analytics and dashboards to monitor trends/performance, interpret and report on
patterns in datasets, and make recommendations for improvement
- Communicate and present results of business intelligence analysis to management
• Log, analyze, and troubleshoot system issues/defects as they arise across al divisions,
and work with internal/external resources to solve incidents
• Support the development, testing, and roll-out of Epicor ERP solutions, bug fixes, and
enhancements
• Lead all internal efforts whenever there is a system upgrade, including data conversion
and User Acceptance Testing
• Technical writing, including user training and creating Standard Operation Procedures
(SOPs) for end users
• Develop and maintain procedures for installation, operations, and configuration
• Design, develop, implement, and/or customize new or existing Epicor applications
• Lead Epicor systems project management, such as scope definition, requirements
gathering, technical solution design, development activities (coding, configuration),
testing, and documentation
- Develop end-to-end test plans and test scripts for new and customized solutions, prepare
test data consistent with business goals and objectives, and provide testing progress
reports
- Provide technical guidance to users, train others on evolving Epicor systems
• Design custom SSRS report solutions for both internal and external use
• Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time and anticipate issues or conditions
that may impact the resources estimate
• Problem Management including root cause analysis of system problems
• Ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization as required
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience required
• ERP software experience is requited, knowledge of Epicor’s enterprise applications
preferred
• Proficient in writing business activity queries and business processes
• Competent in programming languages such as C#
• Proficient in creating and editing SQL Server Reporting Service Reports
• Successful upgrade experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in working in manufacturing companies supporting Operations, Accounting,
and Sales roles is mandatory
• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field of study (Business, MIS, Information Systems,
Computer Science, Statistics, Finance)
• Capable of communicating effectively in-person and remotely
• Proactive, creates solutions to problems, self-directed learner
• Ability to manage and work effectively/efficiently on multiple tasks
• Understanding of change management cycles and the ability to facilitate and implement
change
