ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Manage the current and future maintenance and implementation of enterprise software infrastructure and database architecture.
Analyze, design, recommend, and implement software solutions across Harkins’ operations, including constant iterations to remain efficient.
Assist in the advancement of organizational and project initiatives through the use of leading-edge technology.
Interact and communicate professionally and ethically with executives, internal departments, corporate staff, and site teams to articulate issues and recommendations.
Promote the use of innovative solutions to solve everyday business challenges.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead all Harkins’ software development initiatives as the lead developer and/or through interacting with consultants as needed.
Create and maintain integration between various software systems using application programing interface (APIs) and direct file feeds.
Update and maintain Harkins’ Microsoft (MS) Dynamics 365 database ensuring data accuracy and cleanliness.
Create and maintain low code solution processes in tools such as MS Power Objects, MS Power Automate, and MS Flow.
Manage Harkins’ data warehouse through the use of Snowflake structured query language (SQL) and other computer languages as necessary.
Create and maintain data pipelines from source location to final target location as needed using python or other computer languages as necessary.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using MS Power BI and other business intelligence tools to assist in organizational decision making.
Ensure that data is aligned and integrated across all software applications and that duplicate data entry is kept at a minimum throughout the organization.
Actively pursue areas where redundancies between systems and processes may exist or be created and then implement calculated corrective measures as required to eliminate the waste.
Quickly learn new technology and apply it, as appropriate, to Harkins’ processes in order to drive forward innovative solutions.
Maintain an innovative attitude and look for new and improved ways to innovate in all aspects of Harkins’ organization.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Four (4)-year bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, science, math, or related discipline.
Proficient in SQL, python, or other computer languages used to maintain large data architecture within an organization. Proficient in the Microsoft Windows OS environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively, thoroughly, and efficiently as it relates to information technology issues.
Computer Programming – Deep understanding of fundamentals in computer programming with fluency in multiple computer languages including but not limited to Java, html, and python.
Web Application Development – Familiarity with the Django web framework or other custom web development languages.
Database Management – Understanding relationship databases and the interaction between multiple tables of data with the ability to develop queries.
Data Analytics / Reporting – Understands the fundamentals of data analytics and how to identify key performance indicators to support decision making.
Knowledge of existing software applications currently in use by Harkins, including, but not limited to:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Microsoft Power Platform Suite: Power Apps, Power Automate, Flow, Power BI
- Snowflake
- Oracle PeopleSoft
- Procore
- Autodesk Suite
