Data Engineer
Collaborating closely with data scientists, data analysts, and software engineers to build and maintain the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources
Designing, developing, and owning data pipelines that power analytics for business, research, and product teams
Developing elegant data models to deliver business intelligence to stakeholders across the company under a self-service analytics model
Implementing and evangelizing data engineering best practices, including testing, incremental modeling, documentation, and data snapshots
Working in a cross-functional, distributed team environment where your self-starting personality will thrive
Advanced working knowledge of relational databases and cloud-based analytical data warehouses
Demonstrated expertise in SQL query design and optimization
Experience developing and maintaining custom data integrations
Proficiency with programming languages such as GO, Python, JavaScript, or C++
Experience with AWS cloud services and products
Experience writing ETL
Databases – SQL, NOSQL, Timeseries Databases(Pinot), Cassandra
