Location and hours:
This position is remote. Remote workers may be required to come on-site an average of 0 to 12 days a year for work meetings, trainings, or for any other reasons that their supervisor may deem necessary (may include additional days for onboarding and new employee training). Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. While this position is designated as remote, based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

In this position, you will:
- Build specialization in criminal justice and behavioral health strategies and services.
- Effectively manage dynamic and complex projects aimed at improving equity, efficacy, and efficiency of the behavioral health services for adults.
- Steward collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders impacting and impacted by the behavioral health system for adults.
- Develop reports from concept to production and/or conduct applied research.
- Collaborate with business partners, applying project management and facilitation techniques where appropriate, to analyze business needs and processes, identify and articulate business/research questions, and identify relevant data sources.
- Analyze, interpret, visualize, and present information in informative and dynamic ways to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and diverse audiences.
Need to Have:

One of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field and a minimum of two courses in research methods, analysis, statistics, project management, planning or evaluation and four years or more of planning analyst and/or project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the fields listed below and three years or more of planning analyst and/or project management experience.
- Master’s degree in one of the fields listed below and two years or more of planning analyst and/or project management experience.
- Ph.D. degree in business administration, public administration, research methods, statistics, behavioral/social science, public health, computer science/MIS, management science, urban/city planning, or a field appropriate to the area of specialization.

Experience:
- Working within the behavioral health and/or criminal justice sectors.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help improve business/organizational practices.
- Using business intelligence or reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, etc.
- Automating manual reporting.
- Using SharePoint to collect and/or manage data.
- Visualizing and presenting data in informative and dynamic ways to meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and diverse audiences.
- Using data to understand disparities and/or advance equity initiatives.
- Working in a human services setting.

Ability to:
- Apply problem-solving skills and make data-informed recommendations for action.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Work independently and successfully manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Build and nurture collaborative relationships with a variety of customers/partners.
