What’s the role?:
- Develop Python and Scala software to enhance the HERE Platform Analytics capabilities
- Contribute to the all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Collaborate with both local and remote development teams across the company
- Work with product owners, software architects and data scientists to translate requirements into acceptance criteria
Who are you?:
- Computer Science or other technical degree or relevant work experience
- 4.5+ years of Python development experience
- 1+ years of Scala or Spark development experience, is a plus
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows OS’s and shell scripting
- Experience with Open Source projects
- Familiarity with the Jupyter notebook ecosystem, documentation and testing
- Effective communication skills and ability to clearly articulate technical issues
- A strong work ethic and sense of accountability
