Herzog Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a temp PowerBI Developer in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience developing PowerBI dashboards and Microsoft Report Builder type reports who has demonstrated attention to detail and flexibility, has developed within an Agile environment, can work well individually, works well with others, and is willing to learn to contribute the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to port existing paginated reports from Visual Basic (VB) into Power BI and Microsoft Report Builder formats.
- Create new Power BI dashboards and interactive reports.
- Create new paginated reports for the cloud Power BI service in Microsoft Report Builder format.
- Follow HTI’s coding standards, development methodologies, and release processes.
- Work within a product development team to create and build new reports and dashboards in an iterative environment.
- Analyze problems and propose solutions.
- Design, document, and demonstrate solutions.
- Ensures all requests are logged for data, reporting, and analysis.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Power BI skillset including experience in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL queries.
- Associates Degree or greater, and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience developing PowerBI, Microsoft Reporting Services, r SSRS type reports.
- Demonstrated professional experience developing or managing software.
- Relational database and data warehouse experience is a plus.
- Proven implementation of value adding Data Visualization Design and best practices is a plus.
- Experience with ETL Data Preparation with an understanding of how to implement datasets in a mixed environment.
- Experience with Power Automate is a plus.
- Experience integrating and automating business processes is a plus.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
- Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position.
- Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
