Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Communication Technology Group (CTG) develops infrastructure and software solutions for the Communication Industry. Within HPE CTG, our Assurance solution family is dedicated to the automated supervision and self-healing of the Telecommunication infrastructure and services. Our customer installed base is large and worldwide, our software R&D team is international, spread between France, Russia, India and China. Our current focus is to apply Artificial Intelligence techniques for the assurance of the next generation Telecommunication networks.
In this context we are looking for a senior data scientist part of the R&D organization and working predominantly at a customer location in Pune India, in order to identify new AI/ML use cases and boost our HPE Automated Assurance portfolio.
Your analytics expertise will be used to enhance our customers’ experience by ensuring best-in-class network quality, increasing efficiency, and predicting and preventing network issues. On occasions you will interact with customer organizations to understand problems, develop actionable insights and solutions to solve them. Most projects start with descriptive analytics to rapidly answer and visualize the who, what, when, where, why, and how types of questions. The next step will progress into deeper statistical analysis, application of machine learning and other analytical methods, and visualization. The work will involve solving actual operations and business problems with data science methodologies.
Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s or or Master’s degree. A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Typically 5+ years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Experience analyzing and validating large data sets.
-
Experience with applied statistics.
-
Experience developing visually compelling and interactive dashboards.
-
Experience with SQL, Python, Scala, Apache Spark.

Experience in applying machine learning techniques to solve network operations problems.

Experience in Network Operations.
