Pandata Group is looking for an entrepreneurial and progressive leader to contribute to the growth and success of our Analytics Practice. The Analytics Practice Lead will not only grow a book of business, but they will have an opportunity to grow a practice and develop a high performing team. The Practice Lead advises and partners with clients on solving their business problems by leveraging data analytics, data visualization, advanced analytics, and data science. The Practice Lead will deliver services personally and work with the Director of Delivery, to manage remote, specialized colleagues and contractors for multiple engagements at all stages.

Responsibilities:
- Practice Growth: Contribute to the growth of the Data practice including both team size, driving revenue, consulting, and operational aspects.
- Practice Building: Help to build processes to scale the practice through a combination of business development, talent management, development of new capabilities and offerings, and oversight of delivery work.
- Thought Leadership: Build a brand of Trusted Advisor through several channels such as speaking engagements, community building, thought leadership content, excellence in channel partnerships, development and market of delivery accelerator solutions and IP
Essential Functions:
Develop proposals, presentations, and statement of work (SOW)
- Develop and produce regularly thought leadership content to build brand and to position Pandata Group as Trusted Advisor in the Analytics and Advanced Analytics space
- Ensuring successful delivery of the Practice services and offerings across our customer base
- Ensuring that the right level of competency is available to drive best-in-class analytics service delivery
- Quality, ensuring that KPI’s are tracked and actioned to drive service delivery excellence.
- Creating an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing through avenues such as working groups and communities of practice.
- In conjunction with company leadership, assist with the creation of, planning for and deployment of practice roadmap and associated actions
- Where required, participate in hiring activities and interviews to ensure the correct caliber of talent are brought into the practice.
- Ownership and maintenance of the analytics career roadmap and associated development approaches.
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors in developing, reviewing, and implementing new approaches and/or skills to execute delivery.
- Where appropriate, review Analytics function delivery and implement corrective action plans in support of excellence in service delivery.
- Undertake post implementation analysis to facilitate Continual Improvement where required
- Make recommendations to company leadership on the improvement of practice processes and tools and where appropriate, help to establish these.
- Where appropriate, participate in the definition of organizational standards for the practice.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the modern data cloud and cloud-first analytics landscape
- Strong demonstrable knowledge of analytics function
- Strong knowledge of the Snowflake Data Cloud and support of advanced analytics
- Prior experience of operating in a practice-type model
- Excellent analytics function experience in several methodologies
- Excellent demonstrable experience working with 3rd party vendors
- Excellent attention to detail
- Motivated by delivery
- Ability to work and team effectively with clients and other management personnel across geographies
- Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/ people under pressure
- Good time management, interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision-making skills
Education:
- Bachelor degree in related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- One or more professional certificates to supplement formal education in support of analytics function
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Analytics and Advanced Analytics space
- 3rd party vendor management
- Considered an expert in Data Architecture
- Demonstrable experience in the definition of Analytics standards, processes, and procedures
- Good experience in client-facing roles
