This role would prefer to be onsite in Green Bay WI, but will consider Remote.
SUMMARY
The BI Developer will be responsible for designing, creating and maintaining BI solutions across multiple technologies to provide business leaders visualization tools and interactive dashboards to turn data into knowledge for strategic decision making. Experience with Power BI tool, including a portfolio of design projects is required. This role will support systems maintenance and administration. A solid understanding of SAP technology and SAP table structures with a strong focus on front end report development is helpful but not mandatory. Ability to communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders within an agile core design team is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Gather, evaluate and recommend business requirements with key stakeholders. Translate business requirements to technical specifications.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate visualization design and user functionality.
- Design and implement complex business visualizations, dashboards, and reports to deliver consumer insights. Understand the data, metrics and KPIs embedded into dashboard design.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in relation to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance for functional testing.
- Responsible for utilizing existing test scripts and creation of new scripts and test data constellations with guidance from functional SME.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and BI team. Present, modify dashboard and reporting design options and deploy new solutions to the business.
- Responsible for administration and maintenance of various systems, including BI tools and financial consolidation solution. Advise on and implement configuration changes related to business processes.
- Train end users in various systems, BI tools and best practices. Act as advocate and evangelist for new tools and end user adoption.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (ex: dashboard performance).
- Work closely with the team to ensure architectural standards are followed as it relates to business intelligence design and best practices.
- Participate in projects using agile methodology. Ability to effectively balance project work with ongoing support.
- Responsible for adhering to good programming standards and peer review of other’s work.
- Continuously improve own skill sets including but not limited to technology, business knowledge, project management and communication.
Other Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical skills.
- Advanced skills and experience in Power BI and MS Excel.
- Experience in SAS Business Objects is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, on-line analytical processing and ETL framework.
- Experience or knowledge of predictive analysis methodology and/or tools is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, written and oral.
- Effective testing and change management skills.
- Experience in leading projects is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to accomplish tasks without direct supervision.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Work with functional areas to recommend reports/data extractions.
- Data mining as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College degree in information technology area or equivalent experience with 1-3 years’ experience in a technical role.
