Summary:
The successful candidate utilizes data to solve key business problems within the Channel Analytics team. This person is responsible for providing relevant insights to help the company make the right decisions, address key challenges, and identify new ways to grow our customer’s experience across all touchpoints with the company. This candidate will drive critical business insights by gathering, reviewing, and Modeling data (across multiple sources) to provide solutions to key business decisions. The ideal candidate for this role is analytically-minded, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator.
Responsibilities:
- Creating business intelligence dashboards, visualizations, and/or other advanced analytics reports
- Implements ongoing enhancements to dashboards to ensure data integrity
- Extract key observations and insights from internal and external data sources to drive decision-making
- Support the development and maintenance of automated applications, tools and processes
- Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Intellectually curious and creative, eager to generate ideas to solve business problems
- Writing advanced SQL to query database(s) for user insights
- Ability to identify key statistics, interpret the findings, and share the data in an understandable manner
- Capable of building, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key clients and subject matter experts while working in a team environment.
- Advanced SQL skills, and experience developing queries on large datasets
- Experience developing, optimizing, and/or maintaining data visualizations (e.g., Power BI/Tableau)
- Strong exploratory analysis skills
- Exemplary problem solving, decision making and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience using an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, CSS)
- Working knowledge of statistics, programming and/or predictive modeling.
- Previous experience using statistical programming languages (e.g., SAS, R, sci-py)
- Previous experience using Google Analytics, IBM/Acoustic Tealeaf, and/or Firebase
