The Role
This is an onsite, full-time position with a potential for hybrid/remote work after initial training (projected to be within one year).
Responsibilities:
- Working with clients and consultant team to understand and implement their technical requirements.
- Creating/Updating dashboard and reports for MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
- Writing/Optimizing custom SQL (Queries, Triggers, Functions, Procedures) to support end user customizations / automations.
- Develop complex data migrations and integrations using scripting languages like PowerShell while working with a variety of data sources including direct database access, ftp file transfers (e.g. excel, csv, json…) and RESTful web services.
- Customize front end interface elements using JavaScript/jQuery
Key Skills:
- You must show efficiency in both writing and optimizing T-SQL queries and a solid understanding of database principles. In addition, familiarity with creating and modifying SQL elements such as procedure, functions and views.
- While the position will involve work within all of the identified responsibilities below, this position is targeted in the short-term (first year) to focus heavily on supporting specific client needs for the management and expansion of both Power BI dashboards/visuals and an existing SQL-to-Power BI data model. Experience with these elements of the Microsoft Power Platform is required to fulfil this position.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field of study.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries with a solid understanding of database principles
- Experience with the development of Power BI data models and reports.
What we offer:
Compensation:
This role has an annual salary range of $80,000 – $110,000 dependent upon discipline, experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a 401(k), Paid Time Off, the option to participate in our robust health benefits package, and an opportunity for various bonuses.
