Job Location: Dublin, CA

Position Purpose:

Responsible for evaluating overall Customer Insights initiatives. Own and drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence by identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience. Work with difference departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities through surveys to improve a process, products and/or any customer interactions. To do this, they create, identify, distinguish and analyze multiple components of a process/problem and then make recommendations for improvement. Participate in driving operations processes for specific areas of responsibilities and complete project tasks as assigned by manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 30% Use strategic thinking to see the big picture, determine the problem and understand fundamental parts of the problem.
  • 30% Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses using SQL, Excel, Access.
  • 20% Interpret data based on specific knowledge of statistics and procedures used.
  • 20% Provide data to all Directors to support decision-making. Provide input on forecast based on knowledge of product and technology.


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • This position reports to an Associate Manager or Operations Manager.
  • This position has no direct reports.


Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience making business recommendations to leadership.
  • Project management and process documentation experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Customer Insights best practices


Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.


Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • 3 years


Competencies:

  • SQL or relational database experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of management.
  • Ability to make logical relationships between data sets to describe business activities.
