Compensation Minimum:$53,900 Annual
Compensation Maximum:$105,700 Annual
Trusted Resource Underwriters is American Family’s coastal homeowners insurance solution. We operate closely with other group companies to offer innovative products in complementary markets.
Due to growth at TRU we are currently seeking an intelligent, analytical and energetic Billing Financial Analyst to join our team. In this position, you will have responsibilities for analyzing billing and collections, building out appropriate dashboards and reporting, and supporting our service team and executive leadership in matters related to billing, collection, and reporting. You will be involved in the process of consistently improving monthly financial and operating reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and financial analysis. You will serve as a TRU’s liaison to other departments on billing matters such as commissions, finance, partner management, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop key reporting and reconciliation processes related to transaction processing, billing, and collection.
- Lead operational and reporting efforts related to billing and collection
- Assist in the process of preparation of internal management reporting and controls
- Assist in the process of enhancing reporting to provide analytical insight into strategy execution based on project performance
- Assist in the ongoing efforts to enhance financial modeling to drive decision making
- Frequent Ad Hoc analysis and special projects
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CFA preferred
- Understand accounting fundamentals and financial statements
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team and take on new tasks as needed
- Excellent MS Excel skills; SQL, SAS or other data manipulation software (Tableau) is a plus
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Experience within Insurance industry is a plus
