Job Summary
Working with other developers and analysts, the Business Intelligence Programmer II role develops SQL reports, RPA automations, Executive Level Dashboards, internal productivity tools, and creates and maintains databases, tables, and data. This includes researching, designing, testing, documenting, and modifying projects and reports.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Creates, troubleshoots, maintains, and modifies the following with minimal oversight:
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports using Visual Basic.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Executive level dashboards using a data visualization tool.
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to extract, transform and load data in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Automation projects using RPA tools like UiPath or FoxTrot.
- Projects utilizing standard APIs.
- Deploys, schedules, and manages SSIS packages on the SQL Server database.
- Deploys reports to SSRS, and manages report processing options, access control, subscriptions, snapshots, data caching, and other report properties.
- Consistently writes and translates reports, queries, and data extractions according to specifications with a high level of efficiency.
- Completes performance turning of SQL queries to keep data loads efficient and timely.
- Ensures timely and accurate completion of all deliverables with a high level of independence.
- Consistently communicates project status.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field required.
Required:
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Advanced level knowledge of SQL and advanced report writing experience.
- Must have demonstrated experience and advanced knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases, SSIS, SSRS, C# and Visual Basic.
- Must have a passion for continuous innovation, learning new skills, and consistently delivering excellence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred:
- Banking experience.
- Experience with Tableau and UiPath.
