Department: Customer Ops | Desktop Applications

Location: Charlotte, NC or St. Louis, MO (Charlotte is preferred)

Interview Process: 1 and done virtual Webex with the manager and Sr. BA.

Project Details

  • Companies are turning to a practice called robotic process automation (RPA) to streamline enterprise operations and reduce costs. With RPA, businesses can automate mundane rules-based business processes, enabling business users to devote more time to serving customers or other higher-value work.
  • Just like people, software robots can do things like understand what’s on a screen, complete the right keystrokes, navigate systems, identify, and extract data, and perform a wide range of defined actions.

How Does This Project Impact The Customer Or Business

  • This process will help their customers reinvent their business processes with robots which in return, will highest-value time to focus on the highest value tasks.

Must Have Skills

  • In-depth Knowledge of RPA technologies, such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or NICE, and of best practices with process automation and operational excellence
  • Experience with Processing Mining (including scenario design, flow mapping), Data Analysis & mapping within Business process model.
  • Understand SDLC and collaborate with various stakeholders during the entire automation journey (process identification, process selection, process prioritization, development, support).

Other Skills To Note

  • Ability to learn business processes in a quick time and identify potential RPA opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with a logical, disciplined, and structured approach to documentation and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, Critical thinking skills, Adaptable and Organized.
  • Self-starter, motivated to learn new technologies and business processes.

Education/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Data Sciences/ Business Administration or related fields

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Business Analyst will work with cross-functional teams and business units to question, understand, and provide business process improvements via automation .
  • Partner with the process owners to develop a deep end-to-end understanding of processes targeted for automation and outline the impacted processes and business requirements .
  • Identify scope, benefits, constraints, and risks for RPA automation initiatives, capture and document current state manual processes .
  • Analysts are responsible to identify automation opportunities, define value proposition and re-engineer processes using RPA tools .
  • Works with RPA technical team members to facilitate the planning and execution of RPA projects .
  • Consider change management implications for implementation of new RPA processes .
  • Document and diagram the existing environment and dataflows.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical resources .
  • Help design, document, and maintain system processes .
  • Problem-solving issues that arise in day-to-day running of automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required .
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration across all levels of the organization.
