The HP North America Consumer CCC organization manages all service and support for HPI – both Warranty Service and Trade Service. We deliver support primarily via outsourced partners around the globe. As the NA Consumer CCC Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing our team with critical data insights on all areas of our operations and will be a key component of our future success and how we shape our story.

Job Description

The successful candidate in this role applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and informs team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.


  • Under minimal direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs and a good understanding of information technology, business processes, and industry requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between NA Consumer Customer Care Center (CCC) Operations team and technical solutions/ support groups, using advanced communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business requirements.
  • Participate in proposals, discussions, trouble-shooting, and new development related to data analysis and reporting functionality.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to support management of scope and expectations.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of the CCC operations and PowerBI to support the operation with relevant and timely data analysis and offer recommendations for focus areas.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of the CCC operations and industry to develop data/reporting requirements specifications.
  • Document requirements and translate into proper system requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes and tools.
  • Gather and analyze data to develop visualization to communicate operational trends and opportunities.
  • Operates as a team member and as a team leader. Advise on methods to improve operational processes.
  • Consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
  • May lead the training of partners and peers.

Education and Experience Required

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree with 6 plus years of work experience
  • Must have strong Power BI knowledge


Knowledge and Skills

  • Essential: PowerBI expertise; effective verbal/ written communication; data visualization; data storytelling; requirements elicitation via interviewing; decomposition of high-level information into details; abstracting low-level information; distinguishing requests vs needs; applying creativity to solving complex problems; building relationships and working collaboratively; experience in an industry domain.
  • Specialized in statistical analysis; business rules modeling.
