We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.
In this role, you will:
- Performing system level analysis, identify impacted components linking business requirements.
- Translation of business processes and requirements into technical requirements and design documentation, solution design, system configurations, and testing.
- Functional and Technical design documentation
- The role is responsible to undertake activities on functional design and development
- Representing the designs in business forums.
- Representing POD in PI Planning, scrum meetings and various business forums.
- Engaging with the FCD as well as product owners to make sure the technical designs satisfy the business requirement.
- The role also would require to thoroughly test the built functionality to make sure it complies with the requirement
- Work in all activities mentioned in SDLC lifecycle
- Ability to identify test scenarios based on business logic, write test cases, test execution and defect tracking.
- Driving System Integration Testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing of the Moodys Risk authority and Scenario Analyser application.
- Through understanding of the standard compliance and controls requirements and translate those to system solutions.
- Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service’s direction.
- Create robust functional/technical design and a strategy for development of new components to meet requirements. Work on test plans including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality aspect
- Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
- Provide post development support.
- Day to day maintenance and support of the application.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Having past hands-on experience in working on data warehousing or reporting systems
- Experience in requirement gathering, writing requirement specifications, technical specifications for data processing and ETL processes
- Should have proficiency in Moodys applications.
- If prior experience in Credit Risk Reporting/ Regulatory Reporting, preferred
- Role demands working in shifts and provide On-Call support to production system as required
- Ability manage various stakeholders which could be Business Users, Change Delivery, Audit Representatives, etc
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Experience in Finance and Banking industry would be an advantage
- Familiarity with SDLC, SAFe AGILE, DEVOPS principles would be an advantage
- Work under pressure, willing to work beyond standard working hours when there is a demand
- Open mind set and adaptability to change, positive attitude and logical thinking
- Ability to work independently under pressure and proactively in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Should be a team player; ability to multi-task, good inter-personal skills, ability to troubleshoot & testing skills. Should be organized and self-starter
