We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing Direct Costs and Charges actual with plans and forecasts
- Prepare executive summary and present them to senior stakeholders across the business/function
- Analyse financial data, perform variance analysis, normalizations, trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with the COO teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Perform scenario building to enable decision making for senior stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide solutions to management (for e.g., Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools)
- Perform quarterly review of Software net Book Values, Application Useful Economic Life and impairment analysis and attestation
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders – CIO, COOs, and Finance teams
- Gain advanced understanding of Business and Business processes
- Review and sign off process checklist / operating procedures/ monthly reports
- Participate in Departmental / Global Projects; Lead simple projects under regular reviews and guidance; Propose proactive course corrections and ensure all the project milestones are met by the team
- MBA /PGDBA / Accounting graduate in finance with 8-10 yrs. financial planning experience preferably in ITES or financial services industry. Preferably experience in IT function of the organisation
- Should have a working knowledge of Cost management and accounting principles
- Experience in working on analytical / BI Tools; Qliksense, Alteryx advanced MS-Office Skills Understanding of ERP systems (Cognos)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to use judgment. Resilient, quick thinker and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and building stakeholder relationships internally
- Be quick to respond to requests for service from all of your clients
- Use your courage to take action in difficult and challenging situations and deal with uncertainty
- Ability to communicate with impact and effectively to influence team members and stakeholders.
