Job Description:
The client looking for someone with extensive knowledge of tagging/web analytics/measurement who is comfortable working with a variety of people (from stakeholders to developers and technical folks, agencies). Comfortable managing deadlines/priorities in a fast-moving environment who is very professional and polished. This person would be collecting tagging requirements from stakeholders and translating that to documentation for the technical team to pull through. Would need to be comfortable with web analytics, reporting, data, etc. Must be organized and driven.
Responsibilities:
- Assist/Lead in the overall strategy and implementation of changes relating to Tagging, Analytics, and Measurement to support the Business Unit’s needs.
- Coordinate closely with the Tagging and Analytics team in identifying requirements from multiple sources (such as web and mobile) including stakeholders, developers /technical folks, and agencies.
- Develop technical tagging specification documents tied to business needs/goals.
- Work with key stakeholders to understand the analytics objectives and needs and develop the appropriate Tagging strategy for the web analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
- Participate in and support Business Owners in delivering results and presentations.
- Work with the IT team to ensure that accurate tracking metrics are collected and effectively reported.
- Provide recommendations on improvement of marketing processes, efficiencies, and effectiveness.
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in web analytics and site tagging and measurement ideally in Adobe Analytics Omniture (or similar product like Telium or Google Analytics)
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry: Highly Preferred.
- Individuals must have strong communication and be detail-oriented and an out of the box thinker who can think strategically and able to connect the dots
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in multichannel promotion is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation and user profiling techniques.
- Familiarity with website usability/user behavior concepts (UX/UI Knowledge) (preferred)
- Experience in documenting technical requirement specifications (business requirements document/BRD) for technical implementation.
- Experience as a Technical Writer (preferred)
- Adhoc reporting / Analysis and Troubleshooting experience.

- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally, think critically, and work in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Client-facing and strong communication skills are required with the ability to communicate complex topics in clear and simple terms.
- Ability to learn new business environments, applications, technologies, and processes quickly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree: Required – preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or Business/Marketing
