Hunter Hamilton is partnered with a leading global clothing manufacturing company in search of an Jr. Data / Business Analyst This is currently a one year, remote, contract position, but could absolutely extend or convert. It includes medical dental and vision benefits after 30 days. This role supports a well-known, well-loved brand that’s known globally, and is continuing to grow.
The main responsibility of the Jr. Data / Business Analyst is to support the Loyalty Program and Marketing apps; two of the most major programs within the company.
On a typical day, this person will be checking all the data within the database and using SQL/Tableau to visualize all the numbers, as well as pulling insights. They will share stories about what is happening in the business, and anything good or bad they can capture from the reporting. The mix is 70% analysis, 30% insights. There also might be ad hoc requests, but those will be simple.
The previous Ecommerce Analyst transitioned to another role within Levi Strauss, which is why they’re looking for someone new. The manager is very flexible on experience and industry. This is a one-year contract to start, but there is potential to grow within the organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in accelerating and sustaining growth for the Levi’s eCommerce businesses. In this role, you will manage analytical projects and can partner with product, engineering & marketing teams to tackle some of our digital businesses’ most meaningful issues. You will have the opportunity to present data-driven recommendations & implement them across our various marketing channels. The ideal person will have 1-2 years’ experience in SQL and Tableau.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Own reporting for the app and loyalty team, supporting Levi’s® brand in the US and Canada
- Wrangle data and develop queries/scripts to support analysis needs. QA, document, automate, and productionalize scripts for long-term usage across business.
- Maintain and improve (as needed) the existing reporting infrastructure and supporting Tableau dashboards. Illustrate key business trends through effective data interpretation and visualization.
- Turn business questions into functional analysis – understand the core impact in terms of sales, profitability, and critical metrics
- Develop and enable data-driven decision making by extracting and aggregating data from different sources and translating it into useful insights
- Be the go-to guide for marketing intelligence. Proactively analyze information to help guide the business.
