Description
- Develop familiarity with current BSA Operations technologies/systems and underlying data sets
- Researches problems and takes appropriate action to correct
- Tests and implements business process and/or system modifications
- Assist with and lead time studies to determine process metric/KPI for benchmarks and aide in forecasting
- Evaluate business processes for design effectiveness and resource utilization to ensure process performance meets targeted service levels. This role will perform process evaluations and develop recommendation by use
- Responds to questions and may provide specialized support to internal and external customers as needed
- Quickly understand business problems and opportunities, analyze and present solution options
- Analyze current systems and processes to identify potential improvements or enhancements
- Prepare documentation, which may include narratives, charts, graphs, matrices, diagrams, flowcharts, and data element relationship attribute analysis. Structure documentation into knowledge bases for reference, problem solving, planning, and development.
- Maintains collaborative relationships with vendors, partners and suppliers.
Basic Qualifications – Current
- High School diploma
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology/ Business analysis related work, which can be a combination of internships/course work completed/projects/ professional work experience.
Preferred Qualification – Current
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft suite of products
- Minimum of 1 year of experience to include data analysis, data visualization, or data mining experience using SAS, Python, R, Hadoop, MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2
- Problem solving skills including Root Cause Analysis
- Ability to gather and interpret data and communicate results effectively
- Ability to work in team environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Proficient in process mapping using Microsoft Visio
- Proficient in the creation of procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Support testing cycles (UAT, regression, system)
- System knowledge with Actimize – Risk Case Management (ERCM), Actimize – Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (SAS AML), ServiceNow, Change Management, and/or SharePoint experiences is a plus
