Description
This is a remote position in the Columbus OH area.
The Business Analyst Senior within Risk Shared Services (RSS) acts in a lead position providing data and reporting from a variety of applications/databases for enterprise-wide risk control testing. Supports the Risk Testing and Assurance Director with monthly reports and dashboards. Works closely with internal and external risk partners in the development and enhancements of data sets. Facilitates report requests and design the process for new controls, collaborating with risk partners to create efficiencies and ensure accuracy of results prior to test implementation.
- Produce monthly reports and dashboards, including pipeline management, staffing projections, historical trends, and ongoing monitoring.
- Generate the departments’ monthly report deliverables to support enterprise-wide control testing.
- Provides centralized communication related to Archer GRC Platform (ERMS) and serves as a liaison for system enhancements and updates to control testing modules
- Proactively identifies opportunities to optimize data utilized and reporting to create testing efficiencies and strengthen risk management
- Researching complex problems and processes and solves independently
- Develops specialized and ad hoc reports
- Provide technical and analytical support
- Anticipates and track issues that may affect data and reporting. Escalated issues as needed in a timely manner.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current on technical enhancements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4 + years’ experience analyzing data, creating/producing reports and formally presenting results required.
- In lieu of a degree, 5 + years of business analyst experience that includes analyzing complex data and documents. The experience may be a combination of education (project work and internships) and work experience, with a minimum of 2 years from work experience, but must include work with Structured Query Language (SQL), Excel (including macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) and Microsoft Office (Please detail on your resume)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ERMS and risk management
- Experience with SAS tools, and/or demonstrated ability to develop skills quickly.
- Experience with Datawatch Monarch, SharePoint & CyberArk
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Datamining or business analyst experience from a Banking Institution is preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication
- Ability to gather and interpret data and communicate results effectively
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues/problem solve
- Strong aptitude for learning, research, and investigation
