Job Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram
Technical Architect (Business Intelligence and Reporting), with at least 12+ experience in Business Analytics and Data-Management projects desirably an expert in Microsoft BI solution stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI) and Azure Platform, certified in Microsoft Cloud Platform.
What you’ll be doing :
– Architecting and delivering mid to large-scale Enterprise Applications on Microsoft Platform.
– Design, develop, implement, and support highly complex BI solutions.
– Responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing business needs, support and participate in the delivery of solutions.
– Recommending and participating in activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Application Architecture.
– Delivering projects on time with quality.
– Provide technical leadership regarding technology or project to customers and team members
– Shares best practices, lessons learned and constantly updates the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies and knowledge related to recent, current and upcoming vendor products and solutions.
– Participate in technical forums and discussions within the team and with clients.
– Release preparation (booking deployments, Change Advisory Board, Version setup and coordination, etc.)
– Lead, facilitate and encourage code reviews and peer programming – look for areas of opportunity for team members and identify ways to help them improve
– Adopt and adhere to Standard Development Practices like Continuous Integration, Static Code Analysis, Unit Testing and Versioning.
– Continuously evaluate and drive measurable improvements to processes, platforms, tools, and related technologies; provide necessary trainings to communicate changes and measure
– Create an environment that promotes collaborative learning and collective ownership of responsibilities.
– Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
– Coordinates project resources across multiple locations and time zones.
– Understand the needs of clients and meet requirements
– Submit data that is thoroughly reviewed, and relevant information extracted
– Enter projected and historical exposures related to different LOB’s in a standard template
– Compile and aggregate losses across different coverages
– Compare and analyze data across years for consistency and reasonableness
– Highlight data concerns like missing files or incomplete data to actuaries and underwriters
– Summarize findings and assumptions
– Maintain metrics related to quality, turnaround times and productivity
What you’ll bring to the team :
– You have 12+ years of experience in Business Analytics and Data-Management projects.
– Skilled in handling multiple deadline-driven assignments with the ability to initiate, supervise and complete projects and assignments with minimal supervision.
– Proven experience in Projects with MS BI Stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS)
– Experience with ETL tools: such as MSBI (SSIS), Talend, Informatica DataStage)
– Experience in BI Reporting/Dashboard Tools (Desirable SSRS/PowerBI/Tableau/Qlik).
– Experience in Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure and Azure Applications Development including architectural design, specific implementation projects and/or POCs.
– Working knowledge and experience with AWS or GCP will be a plus.
– Should possess good communication skills.
– Should be able to work both individually as well as along with the team.
– Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
– You have practical knowledge & good understanding of cross-technology and functional domains, programming concepts and logical approach for problem solving.
– Expertise in applied mathematics/ statistics/ economics/commerce domain
– Excellent analytical skills
– Basic excel knowledge such as using VLOOKUP and running pivots
– Good problem-solving skills
