As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your day in the role will include
- Manage all aspects of data and information (both structured and unstructured) from business requirements to logical & physical design.
- As an Information Architect you are capable of designing centralized or distributed systems that both address the user s requirements and perform efficiently and effectively.
You will come with
- Must be skilled in the multiple disciplines of data warehousing such as data access, ETL and data management.
- Knowledge of various architecture methodologies.
- Experienced in analyzing source systems and mapping Enterprise Data Warehouse.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 8-10 years of experience in Data Modeling in Data Warehouse Environment.
- Minimum 2 full ETL end-to-end implementations as an Architect.
- Must have worked on EDW.
- Expert in end-to-end BI initiatives like designing logical and physical models, data governance, data quality, master data management aspects, data sourcing and ETL and associated strategies, data archival, data dissemination etc.
- Good experience with any of the leading tools for ETL and Warehousing Database platforms.
- Full information management lifecycle from acquisition, through cleanse, transform, classify and storage to presentation, distribution, security, privacy and archiving.
- Information Architecture should include databases (relational, hierarchical and object-oriented), file systems and storage management, as well as document imaging, knowledge and content management, taxonomies and business intelligence.

- Collaborate with teams, as a big data environment is developed in a team of employees with different disciplines.
- Capable to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Have worked in fast-paced agile development environment.
- Ability to handle change and be open to it along with good time management and an able to work under stress.
- Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
