Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
- Strong statistical and data science knowledge: Position requires knowledge of traditional and contemporary statistical models including but not limited to statistical estimators, generalized linear modeling, regression, time series, naïve Bayesian classifiers, parametric statistical analysis techniques, interpretation of point estimates and error calculations
- Candidate shall be capable of using predictive & forecasting modeling software, or any other modeling tool to create analytical models, verify and improve the models based on actual data
What you’ll do:
- Candidate will require involve coordinates with Business Application Managers, Process Owners, Legal & Compliance team, Risk Management team etc. on a daily basis to understand analytical needs and objectives.
- They will work closely with clients during the development and operation phases to design and develop statistical, score-based, and empirical models to provide high-quality statistical insights

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Shall have an undergraduate degree in Engineering or a post graduate degree in Mathematics or Statistics or any related field
- Candidate should have experience with big data (Hadoop, Spark (Scala/Python) and Hive) experience of min 3yrs
- Data science or ML background experience preferred
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Should be well conversant in English and should have excellent writing, MIS, communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
