Your Role and Responsibilities
In the role of QA/test developer, you would be responsible for Designing and development of test automation and testing for IBM Storage family of storage products, IBM Software Defined Storage portfolio & IBM cloud storage services.
This role requires 6-10 years of relevant storage industry experience, preferably with prior experience in testing Storage Software. S/He should have BE in Computer Science and Electronics with proven track record of technical leadership for test development/testing. Should have skillset and experience on development using Python, Bash, Perl (any scripting language), Experience with Linux, unix platforms
As a QA/test developerr you will be responsible for development of Test automation and testing of Storage product
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Technical Skills
- Strong background with systems and software products preferably in Storage

Hands on skills and solid experience on test development using python, or scripting languages ,Experience with Linux, unix operating system.
Good Knowledge of Test processes and tools, RTC , Test Plan and execution records needed - Prior experience of working on high performance scalable storage software testing preferable

Understanding and experience of working in Agile methodology across global teams
B) Soft skills - Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to represent team in communication with global teams
- High performing team player with ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Ability to work independently on component/feature for end to end testing

- Skills file system product testing in storage environment
