Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Learning Performance group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Learning Data Analyst.
Our team works a remote 9×80/4×10 schedule with every other Friday off!
Responsibilities Include:
- We are looking to hire a Data Analyst to work in the INL Learning Services!
- INL’s Learning Services mission is to help drive business results through systematically facilitating lab-wide learning transfer through evidence-based learning solutions.
- Role and Responsibilities
- Performs as a data analyst within INL’s Learning Services focused on building out measures, reports, dashboards and other customer facing (front end) work you’re doing for the continuous improvement of our learning products (i.e. courses).
- Manage, analyze, monitor, and advise collaborators of key measures in the categories of learning efficiency, learning effectiveness, and the impact learning has to the business.
- Responsibilities include working with customers to identify requirements and model data and/or complex visualizations that meet customer needs for the building of dashboards and reports.
- This work may involve other activities in the life cycle of data reporting, including the development of data models and connecting to multiple data sources while providing reporting capabilities.
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of data models, data marts (learning records store), and other data deliverables, in support INL Learning Services.
- Once in the INL data hub/warehouse, responsible for transformations and other activities to ensure that data marts and models are continually usable and balanced.
- Provides support to modelers and report builders.
Other duties:
- Stays ahead of on the new technologies including but not limited to PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SSAS, ERWIN, SAS Viya, and Qualtrics. Participate in learning evaluations with learners, management, domain experts, and curriculum program owners.
Minimum Requirements:
- PR02: Bachelors plus 2 years or Advanced degree and 1 years experience – preferred degree(s) CE,CS, MIS.
- PR02: Bachelors plus 5 years or Advanced degree and 3 years experience – preferred degree(s) CE,CS, MIS.
- Experience with enterprise level software systems providing system support and integration to financial management, project management, human resource
- management, work management, supply chain, and/or document and records management.
- Must be a solid teammate, with the ability to articulate and effectively present different points of view on various technologies.
- The ability to communicate with both business and technical audiences is essential.
- Must be able to effectively analyze, prioritize, and execute from concept to operational implementation.
Preferred Requirements:
- Development experience in PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft SSAS, ERWIN, SAS Viya, and Qualtrics.

- Salary Grade – 210 ($91,032 – $150,156)
