Job Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram
Responsibilities
- The candidate will be responsible for creating tracking, analyzing and forecasting the
- Workload based IT spending for IT market in India on semiannual basis
- IT market for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh territories
- This includes data gathering, modelling and forecasting. The candidate is also expected to gather relevant insights into the market by interviewing CXOs, vendors and their partners, analyzing and sizing of the markets
- Candidate should be able to confidently lead CXO and vendor discussions
- The candidate should be able create a market study survey for new markets, analyze the results and publish thought leadership research reports looking at diverse data sets, surveys and interviews
- Participate in and contribute to local or regional consulting projects.
- Coordination with regional and country analysts within IDC as well as ongoing development of market knowledge, interacting with IT vendors and end users and keeping the data up-to-date
- Assist sales and research leaders in taking these products to markets.
- Assist and co-produce press releases and address media queries.
- Interact with internal and external subject matter experts on research topics
- To Manage all aspects of engagement/project to ensure outcomes and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate clear understanding of IT market and the ecosystem is essential especially software and services space including digital Transformation, IT Services, application services, modernization, security, cloud and automation etc.
- Gradually build capability to deliver successful presentations during events.
Qualifications
- Individual with a 4-6 years of job experience in a market research/IT consulting/Services/Software firm with a passion towards research and becoming a thought leader with strong data modelling skills.
- MBA preferred. Minimum university or college degree, BA, BSc or equivalent.
- Good handle of latest technology trends, IT strategy and digital transformation
- Solid experience in advanced statistical analysis, data analysis, modelling techniques
- Excellent communication skills absolutely essential
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience of having worked in a multi-cultural environment will be a key advantage
- Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen strong relationships with peers and external people such as customers
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Excellent time management skills while at the same time able to effectively multi-task
- A passion for excellence
- Highly motivated individual able to work independently, setting work goals and priorities with minimal assistance
