Department Overview
PrimeOne provides a full spectrum of hosted global application services for major financial institutions and investment banks around the world. PrimeOne product is comprised of physical prime brokerage, synthetic prime brokerage and securities lending applications. Our team provides quality services to ensure end-to-end production stability and high availability with dedicated centers of expertise.
Position Summary
We are looking for a support analyst who is well equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As part of application support team, the candidate will need to liase and work in close collaboration with Client, DEV and Infrastructure team to troubleshoot application issues and to ensure high availability of key operational process. The candidate must have prior experience in application support in finance domain. The candidate must have worked in both Linux and Windows server environments and should have hands-on experience on Linux commands, basic windows or powershell commands, SQL queries and stored procedures. Hands-on experience in any scripting language would be an added advantage.
Duties & Accountabilities
- We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of work experience in Production / Application support.
- Candidate should have experience in providing L2 level support on Equities or other Finance domain applications.
- Ready to work in a 24×5 rotational shift model and rotational on-call weekend support.
- Good Knowledge of Linux / Unix commands, Windows or Powershell commands.
- Profound knowledge in SQL โ to run DML and DDL queries and extract data from Database.
- Follow best support practices to improve product and service.
- Monitoring of system and application alerts.
- Experience in using one of the Job Scheduling tool like SOS-Berlin JS, Autosys or Control-M.
- Experience in monitoring and handling of scheduled Jobs / batches and to take appropriate actions during job failure to resolve them within SLA.
- Experience in ticket handling i.e. request and issues raised by clients
- Ability to work independently while receiving minimal guidance.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues from both technical as well as functional perspective.
- Well versed with ITIL concepts like Incident, Problem, and Change management.
- Must be able to work and excel in a team environment.
- Ability to drive production incidents to resolution and document root cause analysis report.
Having below skill will be an added advantage but not mandatory:
- Hands on experience with any scripting languages – Shell scripting or Windows batch scripting
- ITIL Certification

- Bachelorโs Degree with at least 3 years of application support experience in in finance domain.
- Excellent English communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Open to work 24×5 rotational shift model and rotational Weekend support
- Early joiners would be preferred.
