About the internship
Daily Traffic and Performance Monitoring:
1. Check and review daily traffic reports in GA4 to identify any anomalies or significant changes
2. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as page views, sessions, and user engagement metrics
3. Track user behavior metrics to understand how visitors are interacting with the site
Reviewing and Cleaning Tracking Codes:
1. Conduct a daily audit of tracking codes to ensure they are correctly implemented and functioning
2. Remove or update outdated or incorrect tracking codes as necessary
3. Ensure that new content, pages, or blogs are properly tagged and tracked
Event and Goal Setup:
1. Identify new user interactions that need to be tracked and set up corresponding events in GA4
2. Configure goals and conversion tracking for new campaigns or website updates
3. Test events and goals regularly to ensure they are tracked accurately
Report Generation and Distribution:
1. Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports summarizing key metrics and trends
2. Use GA4’s reporting features to visualize data and highlight important insights
3. Prepare ad-hoc reports for specific campaigns or requests from other departments
Ad-Hoc Data Analysis:
1. Respond to requests for specific data analyses from marketing, content, or management teams
2. Use advanced GA4 features and possibly other tools (like Google Data Studio) to conduct in-depth analysis
3. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analysis

Other requirements
1. Current enrollment in a bachelor’s in marketing, data science, computer science, or a related field.
2. Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and basic web analytics principles.
3. Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and website tagging.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
6. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
8. Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles.
9. Experience with Google Tag Manager.
10. Basic understanding of SQL for advanced data analysis.
