Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist-Process
Job Location: Saltlake, Kolkata, West Bengal, India
Qualification required: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Science/Commerce/Humanities or Other equivalent degree or diploma.
Experience required: 5+ years of industry experience, out of which 3+ years of L&D experience as a trainer; in IT-enabled process environment; with exposure to overseas/cross-cultural client setup. Experienced with or exposed to working with CAD and/or GIS Software to produce digital drawings by extracting features from 2D and 3D data. Previous experience in graphic design, digital image manipulation, using web application in AI is desirable. The work involves mapping in autonomous vehicle Projects.

Profile Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a results-driven out of the box thinking L&D Professional. This incumbent will be responsible for developing domain knowledge, client process knowledge, and hands-on tools expertise among iMerit’s Delivery Workforce and ensuring successful delivery of client projects, meeting or exceeding Client’s SLAs like productivity, quality, accuracy etc. This incumbent will be responsible for developing domain knowledge of data annotation in Computer Vision as applied to autonomous vehicles. It includes learning about high accuracy maps (used by self-driving cars), client process knowledge, and hands-on tools. The work involves variety of tasks such as: digitizing roads, streets and features such as road signs and associating road features and other map objects in 2D and 3D environments as per business needs. The work involves mapping in autonomous vehicle Projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Client Instruction Analysis: Perform deep analysis of client instructions to identify gaps (related to CAD/GIS with technical drawings using AutoCAD or other CAD software) and clarification points, analyze production data to detect edge cases, collaborate with client to ensure satisfactory resolution. The work involves mapping in autonomous vehicle Projects.
- Training Needs Analysis: Identify training needs of Delivery personnel in a project through various means, for example: conduct assessments and analyze errors, provide production support and analyze queries/ errors/ improvement areas, perform quality check on production work.
- Training: Develop an effective training plan to cover client instructions and tool knowledge, create engaging training content, deliver training physically or virtually, measure training effectiveness through pre- and post- training assessments as well as improvements in production performance.
- Assessments: Design assessments that provide coverage and deep exploration of client instructions and edge cases, conduct assessments at regular frequency, analyze assessment responses to identify areas of poor understanding and plan corrective action.
- Production Support: Provide effective production support, resolve queries related to process or tool, analyze queries and production work to identify areas for refresher training.
- Continuous Learning: Continuously enhance domain knowledge and hands-on tool capabilities, facilitation skills, training content design skills. Should be able to effectively articulate software issues and needs with sufficient/necessary details to allow engineering analysis.
Professional Certifications
- Certifications related to L&D, IT, Content Development and relevant domains would be an added advantage.
- Certifications related to CAD/GIS would be an added advantage.
