Role Description
Role Description: Senior Software Development Engineer (Sr. SDE)
Ideal candidate self-motivated Software Developer with expertise in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik & Data understanding to join Incedo Business Intelligence team. As a Software Developer, candidate is expected to understand a business problem, formulate possible approaches, design and then develop the solution for the problem in SQL & XML environment.. They must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision. The person should be a self-motivated person with a passion for problem solving and continuous learning.
Role and responsibilities
- Understanding the business requirements.
- Preparing the Design and work on sql based codes.
- Developing & designing ETL frameworks on Infomatica.
- Debugging the existing issues in the ETL framework.
- Creating Project Technical Documentation
- Effectively communicating with team members, project managers and clients, as required.
Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
- Proficient level in writing PL/SQL.
- Hands-on professional with in-depth knowledge of scripting using any BI Tool.
- Should have good knowledge of Data understanding & analysis.
- Good knowledge of designing reporting Metadata & ETL framework.
- Designing Reporting Framework including KPI dictionary & Wireframes.
- Candidate must have strong problem solving logical and analytical skills.
- Candidate must have strong verbal as well as written communication skills.
- Candidate must be a team player & have ability to multi-task based on project needs.
- Experience in AWS pipeline creation & development on AWS multiple suites would be plus
Nice-to-have skills
- Scripting: Unix or Shell scripting
- Experience in data warehouse design and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Masters/MBA in IT or related fields + B.E./B.Tech from top-tier universities
- 4-6 years of development experience with SQL, BI Reporting Tool & ETL (Informatica)
- Demonstrated ability to work well in an agile team environment
- Nice to have: AWS/Azure certifications
- A proven high-performer and team-player, with the ability to take the lead on projects.
