Data Scientist-Analyst
Role Description:
: Data Scientist-Analyst We are looking for self-motivated data scientists to join our Data science team. As a data scientist, candidate is expected to understand a business problem, formulate possible approaches and use required analytical techniques or/and develop machine learning or statistical models to solve the same. They are expected to display a maturity in deciding the solution approach keeping stakeholders in mind.
Role and responsibilities
- Understand client business and analytics problems, develop data science solution approaches
- Perform end-to-end Analytics and Insight generation Â- data processing, analysis, AI/ML modeling, data visualization and insight generation
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Ability to think of possible risks in the projects and action plan to mitigate the same.
- Ability to think of computationally efficient and business effective analytical solutions.
- Hands-on with common data processing techniques.
- Excellent power point presentation skills and excellent team player.
- Strong oral and written skills along with storytelling skills.
Technical skills requirements
The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,
- Familiarity with Machine Learning Concepts and algorithms such as Linear Regressions, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, SVM, Random Forests, Bagging and Boosting, Recommendation systems etc with a decent grasp over the math behind some of the techniques.
- Data Science ModelingAI/ML Modeling leveraging supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques
- Requires working on AI/ML tools like Python, R, AWS Sagemaker etc.
Nice-to-have skills
- Understand Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
- SQL, Big Data technologies
Qualifications
- 0 to 1 years of work experience in systems or application development
- B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred.
