Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in the management and administration of a wide range of AWS services
2. Support the creation and documentation of AWS architecture and help provision infrastructure
3. Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, and GCP) and on-premises servers
4. Participate in the development and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the reliability and performance of applications
5. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application deployment, performance, and security
6. Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing
8. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems, and maintain company policies
9. Determine what the organization needs in a network and computer system before it is set up
10. Administer and maintain VPNs, DNS, Active Directory, VLANs, and ACLs on network switches and routers
11. Install all network hardware and software and make needed upgrades and repairs
12. Maintain network and computer system security and ensure that all systems are operating correctly
13. Add users to a network and assign and update security permissions on the network
14. Ensure that employees workstations are working efficiently and stay connected to the central computer network
15. Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues
16. Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
17. Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 12th Jul’24 and 16th Aug’24

3. are available for duration of 3 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

1. Good working knowledge of Linux and Linux concepts.

2. Good working knowledge of networks, gateways, DNS, DHCP, WAN, etc.

3. Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).

4. Ability and experience in the installation of operating systems (Windows, MacOSX, and Linux (Ubuntu)).

5. Ability to troubleshoot workstation issues on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.

6. Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript).

7. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

8. Debug and troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity issues.

9. Possess excellent knowledge of advanced networking, Subnets, VPNs, Routing, Firewall configuration, etc.

10. A basic understanding of an active directory.

11. Possess strong Linux administration skills.
