We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work as part of a small multi-disciplinary team to manage and optimize ETL pipelines, working closely with analytics teams and stakeholders to understand and meet their data requirements. To thrive in this role, you must understand your work’s business impact by collaborating in cross-functional teams.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and optimize ETL / ELT data pipelines
- Work closely with analytics teams and business stakeholders to assemble and map data sets
- Work with stakeholders to translate their needs into data requirements
- Deploy, test, and maintain data solutions
- Contribute and maintain documentation of development pieces, including but not limited to data dictionaries, ERD diagrams, and model documentation
- Maintain and optimize database solutions using Data Warehousing design best practices
- Develop data audit and validation processes, ensuring data quality throughout the entire ETL process
- Schedule and monitor data pipelines for execution, error and performance
- Effectively communicate status and workloads, and coordinate with other team members.
What you must have:
- University Degree (computer science, engineering, mathematics or related) and 2+ years of experience
- Experience with basic tools such as Excel and file editors
- Experience with writing optimized ETL / ELT jobs
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL
- Experience with modern languages such as Python
- Good understanding or experience with data warehousing and analytical modeling (dimensional, data vault)
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to provide analytical insight and recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
