Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- As an SAP Business Analyst for Engineering and Customer Support, this individual will maintain Sales & Distribution (SD), and Logistics Execution (LE) modules in support of Service Contracts, Warranties, Entitlements, Installed Base, RMA and Return Processes.
- This role must possess the capability to analyze business and technical requirements; develop solutions to address the requirements; and provide subject matter expertise to end users to improve business processes and fully utilize SAP functionality.
- The individual needs a strong knowledge of business processes relating to Customer Service, in addition to the deep understanding of the SAP ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of Customer Return including Stock Transport process flows in a global environment
- Support business teams with enhancement request prioritization, and estimated level of effort and then be responsible for the project through go-live
- Participate in project execution following Infinera s project life cycle methodology including requirement documentation, design, test and go live activities
- Work with end users in defining the as-is current process, suggest to-be future process, identify gaps and develop/deploy solutions
- Propose conceptual and detailed designs to support the business needs, produce functional and technical specifications
- Lead design presentation sessions with cross-functional IT and business audience
- Develop training materials and train end users as necessary
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers and subject matter experts
- Ability to handle multiple issues/tasks simultaneously, prioritizing workload as needed
- Be a thought leader for leveraging SAP to solve business and IT problems including process automation, improving efficiencies and reducing costs
Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- 8+ Years of Hands-On functional SAP SD/LE experience
- Configuration Expertise in the Sales & Distribution areas of SAP including of Installed Base, RMA and Return processes including Logistics Execution with Serial number/Equipment and Stock Transport Orders
- Extensive experience with EDI and associated IDOC processes
- Integration modules knowledge such as exposure to SAP MM Inventory Management and SAP Finance areas. Knowledge in data migration/update functionality using LSMW/MASS tools
- Able to write and review detailed functional & technical documents for new or improvements to various type of SAP R/3 system components consisting of but not limited to: Database, Reports, Function modules, Transactions, Interfaces, Output processing
- Knowledge and usage of different methodologies like Agile, SAP ASAP and hybrid models
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite
Education Required:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Experience working or interfacing with Salesforce.com, Oracle Agile PLM, Kinaxis, Power BI
- High-Tech industry experience
