POSITION SUMMARY
To support continued growth while maintaining our high standards for our customers, Infinity Global is seeking a talented, motivated Manager for Data Integration and Analytics team to support our global business.
The person in this position acts as an integral member of the Infinity Global IT team and is responsible for architecting, developing, testing, and deliver solutions that will allow seamless data flow across various internal systems, reporting platform and third-party systems. You will be responsible to define and architect the future data platform of Infinity Global. The right candidate will be technically savvy, organized, and responsive to the needs of the business.
The Manager for Data Integration and Analytics team will be part of our newly formed development team at Infinity Global. In this role you will be expected to manage a team that has a mix of developers and reporting analysts. As a manager you will be responsible for the wellbeing of your team and prioritize projects/tasks for the team. This role requires that you should be able to present the solution designed by you to a senior level leadership. Communications skill is a must for this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and support architecture, development, QA and deployment of data integration and reporting solutions
- Be the architect to design the data platform and deliver data solutions for the business
- Design the data pipeline and workflow
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models with the team
- Responsible for successful delivery of software solutions
- Provide development support as and when needed for the data platform
- Define software development processes for the team allowing them to work effectively on production support and development tasks
- Design and manage solutions for metadata management
- Perform exploratory data analysis on existing products and datasets
- Define Extract, Load and Transform (ELT) and database standards
- Mentor and collaborate with team members
- Maintain documentation for delivered solutions
- Database, Integration jobs fine-tuning
- Setup Data Model walkthrough with onsite and offshore
- Setup technical meetings within Team and other teams
- Review development deliverables – codes, data, integration, and performance
- Effectively communicate the status and highlight any project risk, delays, and issues
- Work as a product owner for reporting platform and meet with business partners on agreed upon cadence to manage their data needs
- All other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant experience from related field required
- 5+ years of ETL development experience and using ETL tools for development
- 5+ years of data modeling experience for a data platform
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Architect or as a BI Lead for a data platform
- 3+ years of solution delivery experience for data platforms.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics and visualization
- 3+ years of experience in retail or eCommerce
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience in data modeling of a semi-structure and structured dataset
- Experience in designing and managing a snowflake schema in a data platform
- Experience with relational databases like Oracle 11g/12c, MS SQL Server and MPP database systems like Snowflake, AWS Redshift
- Experience with integration platforms and ETL tools like Boomi, SSIS, Fivetran, Apache Airflow, DBT etc.
- Experience in Python or other OOP languages
- Excellent interpersonal, and verbal, and written communication skills
- AWS services experience like S3, SQS, SNS
- Snowflake DB experience
- MS Power BI experience
