The Senior Business Analyst will maximize effectiveness of Citeline’s business processes through the provision of actionable data, analysis and recommendations that enable staff at all levels to make profitable business decisions. This role combines both strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset driven by an understanding of our client base and broader industry drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, develop, and distribute analytic reports and dashboards in Tableau to provide actionable insights to help support data-driven decision making for the executive leadership team
- Present complex data into a concise story for senior business leaders
- Partner with key stakeholders to understand cross-functional analytic needs
- Proactively gather enhancement requests and requirements, tradeoffs, priorities, and solutions to make recommendations to functional leaders
- Identify process bottlenecks and propose recommendations to track and improve performance
- Ensure new data, data sets of data sources are documented, understood, and used in dashboards
- Ensure day to day delivery is timely, accurate and complete
- Data-driven problem solver with the ability to analyze data, extract trends from analysis, and present a story to senior business leaders.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple and coherent manner
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Deep analytic capabilities paired with strong commercial acumen
- Strong organizational skills and attentiveness to details
- Ability to work under limited supervision with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in interacting with senior business leaders
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business analytics, management consulting, or advising organizations
- Ability to trouble-shoot data queries and problems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- SQL and/or Python and/or R
- Experience working with Salesforce data preferred
- Tableau or similar visualization tool
