Inpria, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, has an immediate opening for a Senior Staff Synthetic Chemist based in Corvallis, OR. We seek an enthusiastic and conscientious candidate to join our diverse and talented R&D synthesis team as we extend the limits of organometallic chemistry. This lab-centric position carries responsibilities for synthesis, purification, and fractionation of novel compounds in collaboration with our pioneering organometallic chemists. Primary Responsibilities:
· Execute established data analysis protocols to parameterize and intelligently summarize large lithographic and chemical data sets: 1) Continuously improve data processing flows and algorithms to enhance automation, data integrity, accessibility, and integration. 2). Analyze on-wafer data and tie results to extant characterization data for new R&D materials.
· Collaborate with chemists and engineers to develop new analysis flows and algorithms to quickly and efficiently incorporate emerging chemical and lithographic data steams into existing sets.
· Utilize mathematical models, image analysis, correlation/regression analysis, and statistical analyses to link data from multiple experiments with high-confidence
· Maintain R&D data sets and construct data reports for internal and external customers
Key Qualifications:
·· B.S. or M.S. in computer science, statistics, chemistry, mathematics, physics, engineering or related discipline
· Demonstrated experience with one or more scripting or programming language (MATLAB, R, Python, etc.)
· Active and effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills in English
· Teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative research environment
· Experience with JMP, ImageJ, LabVIEW, lithographic modeling, statistical analysis, and/or machine learning is a bonus
· Semiconductors, thin film, or photolithography knowledge, or experience in a research setting is a plus
· Ability to collaborate with lab and fab personnel in a hybrid role and work on site at least two days/week
· Physical ability to lift 10 pounds; walk and stand for extended periods; use keyboard and mouse for computer data analysis and presentation.
