JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight global is looking for a Business Analyst to support a the state of California in Sacramento. This position is fully remote but must be located near Sacramento. This role requires the candidates to gather business requirements, create User story and narrative creation. Provide best solution for stakeholders. Present information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to drive results and communicate well with all stakeholders.
You will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as:
o Assessment of analysis scope and tasks
o Planning business analysis tasks
o Elicitation, definitions and documentations of various business, user and system requirements
o Writing functional design specifications
o Requirements Traceability matrices
o Perform analysis for business process improvement, application design and workflow automation
o Modeling and documenting functional design and process workflows
o Developing test scripts
o Transition plans and/or implementation requirements
o Managing/updating configuration
o Implementing best practice solutions
o Providing ongoing support as required
o Leading and working with cross-functional teams that include business subject mager experts (SME) architects, developers and testers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 8 years plus performing a variety of business analyst functions such as:
o Assessment of analysis scope and tasks
o Planning business analysis tasks
o Elicitation, definitions and documentations of various business, user and system requirements
o Writing functional design specifications
o Requirements Traceability matrices
o Perform analysis for business process improvement, application design and workflow automation
o Modeling and documenting functional design and process workflows
o Developing test scripts
o Transition plans and/or implementation requirements
o Managing/updating configuration
o Implementing best practice solutions
o Providing ongoing support as required
o Leading and working with cross-functional teams that include business subject mager experts (SME) architects, developers and testers
- 5+ years’ experience following system development lifecycles (SDLC) in order to identify evaluate and recommend business or technical requirements applied to the design and development of systems and networks
- 5+ experience working directly with end user in production support environment
- 5+ years facilitating, collaborating, and negotiating with all levels of stakeholders up to and including executive level decision makers
- 3+ years expertise with complex process and systems requirement documentation standards such as Case modeling User Story creations and narrative description
- 3+ years’ experience working independently and as part of a team, meeting deadlines and demonstrating problem -solving skills
- 2+ years’ experience with process analysis, systems analysis, process architectures and system analysis methodologies and project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
