* Highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience with OneStream or a similar system/tool for financial consolidation, planning, reporting, etc.,
* Accounting experience: general ledger reconciliations and account analysis
* Curiosity and desire to learn about/grow within the industry
* Experience with operating agenda management
* Experience with economic analysis & justification of investments
* Great interpersonal communication skills, ability to collaborate with/take and receive guidance well
Plusses
* Manufacturing industry experience
* Bilingual with Spanish (conversational skills at least is HIGHLY PREFERRED)

Insight Global is hiring an Operations Financial Analyst for a top global manufacturing company in the metal and mining industry. This person will sit on-site at their Kansas City, MO location and report to the North American VP of Finance. Candidate will assist with both operational and financial analysis for the North American Business Unit which includes the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Kansas City location is a plant site, so this person will have the opportunity to quickly learn about the companies processes beyond your typical office setting. This is a great opportunity for a Finance professional to grow their career within a highly profitable and well-established company. They will work alongside the finance and accounting teams while creating lasting relationships with different managers and team members. The main responsibilities include:
* Supporting the consolidation of the financial reporting for all North American operations
* Preparation and reviewing the monthly forecasts/plan bridges
* Provide feedback on all reports and presentations before submitting to leadership within the Corporate Finance group
* Facilitate the weekly, monthly, and annual forecast process and analysis
* Bring forth suggestions that would improve operations, add cost savings, and increase revenue
* Utilize OneStream for consolidation and operational analytics
* Ensure accurate reporting and compliance
* Act as liaison for the Sales, Corporate Finance, Tax, Treasury, and accounting teams for various locations
* Facilitate discussions with the team pertaining to different project topics
* Strategize how different locations ca! n reduce costs through consolidation
* Continuously be learning more about the industry and providing feedback to the team
