JOB DESCRIPTION
An e-commerce stealth mode start up is looking for a Data Engineer/Scientist to join their growing team. If you value working with incredibly skilled engineers and a strong team culture, this is the job for you. The ideal candidate will have experience both doing research, collecting/scraping web for data, compiling and building a database from there. They will have experience in the Resale Industry and have a strong understanding of pricing models, pricing resales goods, and knowing where to look for the corresponding data. Having hands on experience with resale is essential to knowing the nuances involved in pricing resale goods and knowing how to accurately forecast are essential to be successful in this role. This person will be responsible for driving this effort and for building a strong database to pull from in the future, ensuring a more seamless client partnership process in the future.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Extensive experience performing Data Science and Engineering
Python, big data experience
Experience owning the research, collecting data, and the build from start to finish
Resale industry experience; building accurate forecast, resale nuances, data collection/extraction
Simply a good person who will add value through both professional and soft skills, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is incredibly important to each one of them, they want to ensure those joining foster the same environment
