JOB DESCRIPTION
The Procurement Analyst will support the Bank within defined processes to ensure vendors and Bank lines of business have a positive supplier relationship and a consistent contracting and legal experience. The Analyst will provide general and specific analytics and procurement related functions as well as financial and operational reporting. This Analyst will collect and manage procurement data metrics across multiple departments and lines of business while working with a variety of systems. Other responsibilities are as follows:
- Works as a pro-active member of the Procurement function to assist in establishing the analysis templates and comparison metrics to help drive strategy and roadmap decisions
- Curate data (from disparate data sources) to meet business planning and strategy development needs focused on data accuracy and accessibility
- Works with cross-functional teams and collaborates with sourcing leaders to build an understanding of category strategy, supplier markets, & processes and understand savings targets and the financial reporting process of those targets
- Consult with internal lines of business regarding cost savings and process improvement opportunities via the use of third party providers
- Lead competitive Procurement requests or support other subject matter experts during the supplier selection process
- Coordinate preliminary information required, contract drafting, negotiations and contract edits with key stakeholders
- Obtain feedback from risk control groups and relevant stakeholders during various phases of the contract execution process
- Under direct supervision, assists in administering assigned procurement initiatives utilizing pre-established specific corporate guidelines
- Contribute to the timely reporting of workload and work status
- Communicate effectively with various participants of the process
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of Data Analytics
o Ability to gather and analyze data to show trends and provide proper recommendations/solutions
- High proficiency with Excel
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable and professional when interacting with people in varying roles or levels within the organization
- Critical thinking and able to identify complex issues and solutions, anticipate questions, provide practical solutions and offer insightful direction
- Bachelor’s degree
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing
- Experience working in the financial services or consulting industry
